Stages of Pregnancy
Pregnancy is very exciting. It can also be a serious pain in the rear! For all of the bad parts of pregnancy, there is an amazing part. Throughout all the stages of your pregnancy, you will learn more about your own body than you ever thought possible and you will bond more and more with your unborn baby. Here are the different stages of pregnancy and more about what you can expect from each one.

Stage One - 1st Trimester
Okay, many women refer to their 1st trimester as the worst part of their pregnancy. It's true that this one can be a bit rough, but there are just as many wonderful things about the first trimester as there are bad. First of all, this is when you will most likely feel very tired and low on energy. Your body is going through a ton of changes and you are using your energy like crazy. Morning sickness also usually occurs in this trimester. Many women feel as if they cannot stay out of the bathroom between the nausea and frequent urination. Your breasts will be tender and can even be sore at this point, and you will want to sleep a lot. Getting through this trimester and still being sane means that you will feel much, much better!

Stage Two - 2nd Trimester
Finally you can smell food cooking and not want to vomit. This is a very exciting trimester because the small plagues and frustrations of the first trimester are pretty much gone. In this trimester, you will most likely start to show. Your body will probably rebel against your favorite jeans and cute outfits! You will feel your baby moving and in this trimester, you will find out the sex of your unborn child if you choose. You may experience cravings or aversions during the second trimester. Although you may still feel a bit tired, you will be much improved from the first trimester and your baby will be growing rapidly.

Stage Three - 3rd Trimester
What happened? Have you gone back to feeling miserable? This stage of the pregnancy carries it's own form of frustrations disguised as an itchy belly, swollen ankles and that big, awkward belly. Although you feel like you look terrible and are fighting with the refrigerator to see who can take up more space, the truth is that you look adorable! You have that famous pregnancy glow and prenatal vitamins have shown their stuff, giving you thicker, lustrous hair and healthy skin. Your baby is really growing now. Soon it will be time to prepare for the hospital stay by packing a bag and practicing the plan! Use thick body lotion to relieve your itchy skin and rest now while you have a chance!

Pregnancy is absolutely beautiful and no matter how much you feel like you are suffering, as soon as you catch a glimpse of your tiny miracle, you will forget about all of the bad times. Following the stages above, you can track your pregnancy as you wait for your little bundle of joy.
